She said it wasn’t about race because she didn’t even see them, but she went down to tell them to be quiet and then changed it to needing a permet. Personally, I believe that while it may not have been race motivated at first it became so once she saw the little girl and mom.

On the other hand, if it wasn’t she still called the cops on a little girl. I don’t think a little girl needs a permet just to sell water, its no different then selling lemonade and no one gives a damn if some kids do that.

To add to this nightmare, I’ve just heard of a thing called ForceField where people get to monitor and block internet sites that you’re going on if they don’t approve.

It tells the user what sites/apps you’re going on, for how long you’re on them, and WHERE YOU ARE ON AN UPDATING MAP.

So you know if you’re in an abusive household and use sites like tumblr to escape and talk to friends, you could be cut off from that.

They say “it’s not spyware” but it sure sounds controlling and creepy to me.

Life 360 is another tracker. My parents have used it on me, not allowing me to delete it from my phone, and sometimes even demanding selfies to prove I was where the map said. (As if I’d go anywhere without my phone)

SpectorPro is another one. Afaik it can’t track location, but it takes screenshots roughly every 20sec to allow the installer to watch a video of your computer activity. It also tracks all keystrokes, so passwords aren’t safe, and records any website you visit + the duration. It’s incredibly creepy and a huge violation of privacy, and was one of the cornerstones of my abuse as a kid.

The rainbow flag when originally created by Gilbert Baker in 1978 actually contained 8 stripes that were assigned values and specific meanings that were meant to show what unites us and what we value as a community,

It took 30 people to hand dye AND hand stitch the first 2 pride flags- 30 people of various identities came together to create the first symbol of pride. Hot pink was removed due to fabric shortages and turquoise was mixed with indigo to have the darker blue we have today.

Having individual flags is great to show your identity but I think we shouldn’t forget that the rainbow flag isn’t reserved for gay men, it was created to show what we all have in common regardless of identity.

This family came in, and then for some reason left their old grandma there while they shopped elsewhere. She was up in the corner looking at our dog bowls for a long time, when she finally brought up the last one we had of an expensive, ceramic bowl. Not only was it not priced, there wasn’t even a barcode on it. I said “no problem, I can look it up.” and started trying to, but because it was the last one, I couldn’t use another one to scan to at least figure out what the product name might be, and the brand name was really hard to read. so as I’m scrolling thru, trying to find it based on the word ‘bowl’, she’s muttering and complaining and eventually say’s the “well it should be free then, this is ridiculous.” and I realized, she was being dead serious. I finally just called a sister location to determine what the brand was and what the upc was and rang it up, it was like a $30 bowl. She immediately was all “that’s outrageous, I’m not paying that! blah blah blah.” She leaves, and I price and tag the bowl so it’s not an issue again, and when I go to put it back on the shelf, I notice this white stuff on the ground. THIS BITCH stood there, SCRAPPED off the upc and price tag (the pieces were all over the ground and I could see it was the correct upc after I had figured it out) before she brought it to the counter, so that I would laugh it off and say “Oh well, here ya go!” like that would ever happen??? She gave me so much grief over something she did herself :(

some highlights after going through all the sprites and leaked info:

- tangrowth, leafeon, lickilicky and mime jr. were already conceptualized this early, though they all got pretty major redesigns by the time they actually got released

- there was a ‘heart stone’ and ‘poison stone’ which was apparently how you got Espeon and umbreon, so most likely the friendship mechanic wasn’t implemented yet. umbreon is poison type, which is somewhat reflected in its current pokedex entries

- vulpix, growlithe, grimer, goldeen, doduo, tangela, paras, ponyta and meowth all had baby forms

- weepinbell had a split evo line similar to gloom

- farfetch’d, ditto and pinsir had evolutions

- farfetch’d’s evolution in particular seems to be some kind of goose dominatrix

- porygon2 had a wildly different design that’s apparently a parody of a Japanese donut shop mascot:

- qwilfish had an evolution that looks like it might have been repurposed as stunfisk in gen 5

- slowbro/slowking’s shellder was available as a standalone pokemon (!!!) though it doesn’t seem to be related to either shellder or slowpoke by evolution. might just be bugged/not have been implemented yet, since a few other evo lines seem to be broken.

- bayleef was… something completely different

- there’s an eel/anglerfish that was almost certainly retooled into huntail for gen 3

- girafarig had a really cool looking pre-evo, was originally normal/dark, and its tail head was a full sized extra head with a more sinister expression

- there’s a VOODOO DOLL THAT EVOLVES INTO A JIANGSHI PANDA come on gamefreak why did you hide this from us

Some were handcuffed for days on end. “At Shenandoah, my room had a mattress, a sink, and a toilet … I was forced to wear handcuffs on my wrists and shackles on my feet for approximately 10 days in a row.”

Children were allowed outside for only one hour a day. “I am suffering a lot being in the Yolo Juvenile Detention Center. It is a jail and I sleep in a locked, small jail cell. I can’t leave here and have no freedom at all. We only get one hour of time outside each day. I have to live in a small cell with concrete walls.”

Clothes were taken away. “Whenever I was put in restriction, they took away my mattress and blanket. They took my clothes away about 8 times.”

not to mention someone who’s on a primarily vegan or vegetarian diet and has been that way for a long time has a body unused to eating meat, especially red meat like beef. if your body isn’t used to red meat it can do a SERIOUS NUMBER to your digestive system. it is not fun, it’s hurtful and painful, it can make them REALLY sick even if they aren’t vegan or vegetarian for allergy-related reasons.

I have heard of people sneaking pork into tje dishes of muslims or jews do NOT feed people food they do not want to eat for whatever reason. Even if you don’t harm their body you might cause a serious psychological issue! You are literally harming someone’s body autonomy it doesn’t matter if you think vegans are annoying or whatever. Don’t fucking do this.

I have been a pescetarian since I was 10 years old. I’m now 27. When I was in college about 5 years ago, I decided I could eat pizza that had pepperoni on it if I removed the pepperoni (Dominos screwed up our order, we were supposed to get 1 plain pizza I could eat but they gave us 2 pepperoni instead and me being the socially anxious person I am, I didn’t wanna make a fuss about it).

I got so sick. SO SICK. So much for not making a fuss, my friends almost took me to the hospital, I had to convince them not to. Just from the oils of the pepperoni seeping into the pizza. I didn’t even eat the meat itself, but I learned that day that cross contamination is a bitch. And I still eat fish, unlike a vegan, just not red meat or poultry/fowl. I knew already that I had bad reactions to meat by that point in time, like from the time the Chinese restaurant gave me an egg roll instead of a spring roll by mistake and after only 2 bites I realized the issue and I still got ridiculously sick (from 2 bites of an egg roll containing pork), but I didn’t think I’d get sick from pizza that had no meat on it at all. And yet I did.

So imagine if someone gave me a real hamburger. One bite would be enough to create hours of agony for me. Now imagine if someone gave a long-time vegan, who does not eat fish, a hamburger. And that vegan ate the whole hamburger.

Vegan culture pisses me the fuck off too but holy shit that can literally put someone in the hospital you sick motherfuckers.

This. I’m deathly allergic to red meat. I can still manage poultry (though not fish) but red meat of any kind, even if you use the fats to cook the veggies in and don’t tell me? You’d best be prepared to stab me with an EPI pen and take me to the nearest ER cause you may actually kill me by doing something like this.

So aside from being constantly misgendered by my husband, today his racist and abusive parents decided to show up unannounced to my house and I told him not to let them into my space.
What does he do? He lets them into my space, and tries to force me into talking to these disgusting people while I’m angry and triggered and when I tell him how disrespectful he is putting my needs to the side (like he’s always done) we get into a physical fight (causing me to black out), where he says “oh you can scream because you’re a woman and society will take your side” and “you’re a lost cause cuz they were trying to make it better” so yeah I need to escape this dumb cunt and his racist ass family with my daughter, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also my PTSD is putting me on suicide watch and I’m considered an extreme case so for my health I won’t be dream walking for anyone for a little while.
